Spammer friendly ISPs (Is Techie Media one of them???)

Sometimes I wonder what it takes to run a spammer friendly ISP. If Techie Media is one of them, I guess it starts with not even being able to process new server requests online. Instead, you send them an email and they work with you offline. Probably they can’t keep a merchant account or something. Even in Ukraine, we can process credit cards. Kind of funny. But hey – if you a sending out tons of crappy spam, I guess you don’t care about being able to process credit cards!!

TechieMedia.Net – Spam Friendly ISP?

I was inspired to start this blog when I discovered that US-based ISP’s are able to completely ignore spam complaints. It’s funny, because in the Ukraine, spam complaints are very serious. We have to take prompt action or we will get blacklisted quickly and permanently.

The good people over at techiemedia.net have not been as proactive as I would like (just my humble opinion). To date, I think I have reported spam off their networks about 30 times (give or take). I did actually get a promise that they would take action, but got more spam from the same source the very next day .

So, I guess it’s fine in the US to run an ISP that is a haven for spammers. From this point forward, whenever I receive domain-related spam, or whenever any of my members receive domain-related spam and complain to me, I’ll just put it up here for all the world to see.
